Cheryl Kost

Cheryl Ann Kost, age 71 of Red Cloud, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was born to Donald Stankey and Geraldine Malloy in Mobridge, South Dakota on November 26, 1954.

Cheryl attended and graduated from Cheyenne Eagle Butte High School. After her graduation she got married and was blessed with three children. Cheryl later divorced.

In 1978 Cheryl moved to Red Cloud and called it her home until she passed away. She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend.

Visitation for Cheryl will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the Williams & Kuehn Funeral Home in Red Cloud from 2PM until 7PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at the funeral home starting at 10:30AM. Committal Services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Timberlake Cemetery, in Timberlake, South Dakota starting at 1 PM Central Time/Noon Mountain Time.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Judes Children Hospital Cancer Research and may be sent in care of Williams & Kuehn Funeral Home, 241 West 4th Ave., Red Cloud, Nebraska 68970.
