Linda Jo Chartier

Linda Chartier, 84, passed away on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026.
Linda was born on October 8, 1941, in Riverton, Nebraska, to Francis Victor Bohrer and Josephine Maryette (Stewart) Bohrer and had two children, Carrie and Douglas.
Linda dedicated years of her life to the real estate profession, serving clients and families throughout the Hastings area. She earned her real estate salesperson’s license in 1980 and her real estate broker’s license in 1987. In 1984 she earned her GRI (Graduate of Realtors Institute), followed by her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in 1993.
Linda was deeply committed to her profession and the community she served. Over the years, she served on numerous local and state committees. She served as President of Local Board in 2011 and was honored by the Hastings Board of Realtors as “Realtor of the Year” for 1997-1998.
In 1997, Linda became the designated broker and owner of Benchmark IV, Inc., a position she held until the end of her career.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Josphine Bohrer; her sister Betty Ruth Methe; and her brothers, James Henry Brohrer, David Lee Bohrer, Robert Edward, Bohrer, Francis Stewart Bohrer, Roberick Lewis Bohrer, and Richard Lyle Bohrer.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Chartier; son, Douglas Chartier; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
