Willis "Bill" Fintel

Willis 'Bill" Fintel, continued his journey to meet Jesus on December 10, 2023, at the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska at the age of 94. He began his life on April 25, 1929, and began his journey at his baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit on May 5, 1929, as a baptized child of God, which can only be lost by rejection.

He was loved by his parents, Paul and Lavada Fintel, who preceded him in death, as well as a daughter, Gail and granddaughter, Heather. He was loved by his wife, Sue, (married over 72 years) and by Mark (Rebecca) Fintel and Paula (Fintel) English, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

His friend Jesus was constantly by his side through joy and adversity and never failed him. May all who read this have the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Services will be Friday, 10:30 am, December 15, 2023, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hastings with the Rev. Micah Gaunt officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 pm at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Deshler, Nebraska.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests memorials may be directed to the Orphan Grain Train in care of Peace Lutheran Church, Hastings.
